What it is for
A customer describes what they have in mind. At the end of the conversation comes the question that decides every project: roughly what will this cost? If your answer takes two evenings with a spreadsheet, the job is often already gone.
Fleet Planner is built for that gap. Load the floor plan, set the scale once, stamp components from the library onto the plan. The calculation builds itself along the way, line by line, with material and labour. What comes out is a sheet with your logo that the customer actually understands.
The tool is meant for integrators, electrical contractors and everyone who sells smart home installations before building them. It is deliberately not a quoting suite: there is no customer database, no quote numbers and no invoices.
What the beta can do
Floor plan and scale. Load an image per level, measure one known distance and type in its length. From then on the plan works in metres and the drawing is true to scale.
A library of 140 entries. Named by function and protocol agnostic: a motion sensor is a motion sensor, whether it speaks KNX, Zigbee or Matter. One list covers new builds and retrofits alike. Every entry comes with a reference price, an installation time and a symbol.
Your own components and symbols. Anything missing you add yourself, with your own price and your own time. Custom symbol images work too. Your library can be saved as a .hafmlib file and carried to another machine.
Draw the rooms yourself. When there is no floor plan: pull walls, place doors and windows, add text, with snapping and a length readout at the cursor. The drawing goes straight into the PDF.
A calculation that keeps up. An itemised list with sections, editable unit prices, free line items and markups that may apply before or after tax. The total is always already there, not only at the end.
Export with your branding. PDF for the customer, including the floor plan and a legend per level. .xlsx with real numbers to keep working with. CSV for everything else. Set logo, company name and an extra line once and they apply to every project. Your purchase price never leaves the tool, not even as a hidden column.
Five languages. Deutsch, English, Español, Français and Hrvatski, catalogue names included, switchable while you work.
What it cannot do yet
It is a beta, and these points are missing, some on purpose, some for now:
- Working offline. Getting started needs a connection today. The basement with no signal is exactly the case this is meant for, but it is not built yet.
- Floor plans from PDF. Architects send PDFs, the tool takes images only so far (PNG, JPG, WebP). A screenshot of the PDF page is the detour.
- Operating the drawing by keyboard. Walls, doors, windows and text are reachable by mouse or finger only. That is an accessibility gap and it is on the list as one, not as a detail.
- Manufacturer variants in the catalogue. The tool supports them fully, the catalogue carries none yet: a variant without a verifiable street price would be a guess that looks like a promise.
- Pricing the commissioning time. It is reported as a figure but does not enter any amount while the rate for it is undecided.
- Syncing between devices. Without an account there is nothing to sync with. Moving a project runs through the exported file.

Privacy and network behaviour
No backend, no login, no cookie, no tracking. The page loads the application and the catalogue, and after that it stays quiet: there is no service a project could be sent to, because there is no server behind it. Floor plans and prices are often customer data, and customer data does not belong in someone else’s cloud just because a tool is convenient.
Projects, images, your own library and your branding live in the browser database, the language setting and recently used components next to it in local storage. Both stay on the device. The price for that is in the notice above: what lives in the browser only disappears with the browser. Exporting is not an extra step here, it is the backup.
